Launched in 2012 to bring together Node.js experts, enthusiasts and developers, Node Summit is the only conference focused on how Node.js is transforming the future of computing. It’s the first-ever event devoted entirely to the business implications of the server-side JavaScript environment Node.js.

Business leaders and technology experts come together to discuss how Node.js is enabling the creation of real-time, high performance, scalable, networked applications. Speakers deliver case studies that unveil how they’re using Node.js today to architect large-scale applications. In a series of interactive debates, panels, and keynote sessions, participants also discuss how Node.js will impact businesses and consumers and share visionary ideas for future implementations.

“We launched Node Summit to examine what Node.js can enable and to recognize the startups and large enterprises leveraging the runtime to develop next-generation solutions. Since then, we have seen the web ecosystem grow exponentially with the proliferation of mobile and web-based apps. Node is at the center of it, as developers and businesses of all sizes now rely on the runtime for the increasingly complicated applications we use every day.” – Charles Beeler, Producer of the Node Summit Conferences and a Managing Director at Icon Venture Partners

Node Summit 2013 included the inaugural NodeTalks, inviting members of the Node community to submit papers and presentation proposals highlighting the rapidly growing number of high profile web applications that rely on this ecosystem.

Both Node Summit 2012 and 2013 featured the annual NodeJam competition, a showcase of Node.js startups and applications.

Node Summit 2015 will take place on February 10-11, 2015 at Mission Bay Conference Center. For more information, click here.

Node.js is a platform built on Chrome’s JavaScript runtime for easily building fast, scalable network applications. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient, perfect for data-intensive real-time applications that run across distributed devices.  Node.js software is open source, MIT licensed software.
