Mark Mayo

As a principal engineer in Mozilla’s innovation group, Mark works on identity and compute platform projects. As the former CTO of Joyent, Mark helped incubate the Node.js project. Before joining the startup race in 2007, Mark spent 4 years as the Director of Grid Computing for Nobel Prize laureate Michael Smith’s Genome Sciences Center. Mark did time at telcos in the 90s, and holds a BSc in Comp Sci from the University of Guelph.
